Emerald Isle & PMAC Golf Cup’s and Competitions

Confirmed Rules & Guidelines following Meeting on 28th Feb 2022

​

- The two Emerald Isle Cups (Ladies & Gents) will be played for once a year in April. (Main Sponsor – The Emerald Isle). Date for 2022 is Monday 4th April

 

- Cost of Entry (€80 pp for PMAC Members or €20 for Vistabella/PMAC Members) 

 

- The two PMAC Cups (Ladies & Gents) will also be played for once a year in October. (Main Sponsor – Chris & Gwen) Date for 2022 is Monday 17th October

 

- Limit Entry in first year to 20 people (5 Groups x 4) on a first come basis. (for 1st year) and a €10 deposit paid to Pearse (Balance to be paid before 4th April)

 

- Cost of Entry (€80 pp for PMAC Members or €20 for Vistabella/PMAC Members) 

 

- Only paid up PMAC Members can enter for the 20 spots (Memberships due January each year). If there are any spare slots available to Non PMAC Members (visitors) they can enter the competition but are not eligible to win any of the Cups.

 

- Presentations for the two Emerald Isle Cups will be on the Wednesday 6th April at the Emerald Isle, La Florida to incl 2 course Dinner, Beer/Wine/Water and Show.

 

- Presentations for the two PMAC Cups will be on Wednesday 19th October and can also be at The Emerald Isle to avail of the 2nd last outside big Show of the season.

 

- Competition format – Stapleford based on PMAC Handicaps for both Emerald Isle Cups. (Max Men’s Handicap 28 and Max Ladies Handicap is 36)

 

- Names engraved on each Trophy and left at Vistabella Golf Club (once Pearse gets agreement that they can be prominently displayed there)

 

Prizes:

 

• Main Ladies & Mens Competition Winners- Cups sponsored by The Emerald Isle

 

• Longest Drive (Ladies & Mens) – Dinner for 2 plus Bottle Wine at Zenia Garden sponsored by Brendan Moran

 

• Closest the Pin Prize (Ladies & Mens) – Box of Srixon Balls each sponsored by Erik and Brendan Neenan

• Nearest the Pin in 2 Shots (on a Par 4) - Box of Srixon Balls each sponsored by Pearse and Hakan.
